+ Our First Dance Under the Stars 💃🌙

This Valentine’s Day felt different in the best way.

Instead of crowded restaurants and fixed menus, we gathered on 40 acres of North Florida land at Ichetucknee Yoga Club & Outdoor Meditation Center for something slower, warmer, and more connected.

🌿 A Day of Community & Good Food

Our community showed up with beautiful vegetarian dishes made with care. The potluck table was colorful, abundant, and full of love. People who had met only minutes before were already sharing recipes, stories, and laughter.

After lunch, many of us took a long walk around the property. The air was cool, the lake was calm, and the pace of the day invited real conversation. No rushing. No pressure. Just presence.

🧘 Yin & Pranayama — Gentle, but Lively

Our Yin and Pranayama Breathing Yoga session carried a quiet kind of energy. The postures were slow and grounding, but the room (and the lawn) felt alive.

There’s something powerful about breathing together outdoors. You could feel the collective exhale soften shoulders, slow thoughts, and open space for something deeper. For some, it was rest. For others, reflection. For many, it was simply relief.

💃 Our First Dance Under the Stars

As the sun set, we transitioned into our very first Dance Under the Stars night featuring Latin music and dance.

Salsa. Bachata. Merengue.
Movement replaced stillness. Laughter replaced hesitation.

Beginners and experienced dancers alike stepped onto the makeshift outdoor dance floor. The music carried across the property, and what started as lessons turned into free, joyful movement under string lights and a wide Florida sky filled with stars.

There’s a unique magic in dancing outside at night. No walls. No mirrors. Just rhythm and connection.

🔥 Ending by Firelight

We closed the evening the best way we know how — gathered around a fire.

The Latin beats faded into a relaxed fireside chat among friends under the stars. Conversations turned thoughtful. Stories got deeper. New friendships formed naturally.

Valentine’s Day became less about romance and more about community — about shared experience, warmth, and belonging.
